    What: Breakfast with Carole MacNeil

    Who: Carole MacNeil, host of CBC News: Sunday Night

    This is an informal breakfast where MacNeil will speak about her role at the CBC, climbing the corporate ladder from CBC New Brunswick to the national newsroom, and the state of journalism. She will also take your questions.

    Special thanks to the Delta Prince Edward for providing space for the breakfast. To help say thanks, bring your wallet and buy breakfast. Full breakfast menu will be available.

    A session with two leading Atlantic Canadian lawyers - who used to be journalists - on what we should know to keep us out of hot water and out of the courtroom.

    What: Annual General Meeting

    Who: The meeting is open to CAJ members and interested non-members who are invited to attend and join the CAJ.

    Why:The AGM will include the chapter's first full elections since the interim executive was put in place last fall to host the National Writers Symposium. The current office holders are listed above.

    Says Chapter president Wayne Thibodeau, "we've set an agressive schedule and want a full executive. The following jobs are up for grabs."
