OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION (1 only) | $20,000

Sponsor the official convention kick-off event, the prime opportunity for all convention attendees to network and get to know the host city. The opening night event will takes place at the St. Andrew's Club & Conference Centre and sets the tone for the rest of the convention.

Corporate Tables - Awards Gala | $3,000

For personal interaction with the international media community, and to ensure your company and your staff are front and centre for the conference’s glittering awards event, a corporate dining table is an essential option.



Workshop/Panel Sponsorships| $8,000

Your company can be a prominent sponsor of one of the many panels, workshops and roundtables focusing on great investigative journalism around the world, as well as craft workshops for all journalists. We hope to have translation in French and Spanish to allow colleagues from many more countries to attend. We aim to use podcasting and a great Website to share with journalists all over the globe.

Advertising Opportunities

The Canadian Association of Journalists has been chosen as the host organization for the next global investigative journalism conference, to be held in Toronto, May 24 to 27, 2007.

The Global Investigative Journalism Network chose Toronto to be the first North American city to host the Global conference, which will be the fourth held. The 2005 conference was held at the end of September in Amsterdam. More than four hundred journalists from every region of the world attended and an even larger gathering is expected in 2007.

Convention participants are professional journalists, college journalism students, and journalism faculty members. Journalists from all walks of life will be represented in Toronto, from freelancers, to print and broadcast journalists, to online journalists, and many more.
There are many opportunities for you to advertise to the convention participants.
