MEDIA magazine is the premier trade publication for Canadian journalists. MEDIA is faithfully edited by David McKie, a producer in CBC News’ Parliamentary bureau, author of two journalism textbooks, and data journalism teacher at Algonquin College, Carleton University and the University of King’s College. It’s a must-read for anyone with an interest in the practice of journalism in Canada. Averaging 32 pages an issue, MEDIA is full of topical and practical stories and information.
MEDIA deals with a wide variety of issues, ranging from investigative stories to analytical pieces relevant to the practice of the profession, and from high-level ethical issues to nuts-and-bolts, step-by-step “how to” articles.
Check out the magazine’s back issues stretching back to 1998.
